Mozzart Bet donates medical equipment worth Kes.2.5M to Baringo County

One of Kenya’s leading gambling company Mozzart Bet has donated medical equipment worth Kes2.5M to Baringo County. According to Nation, the items included N95 facemasks, 3-ply disposable masks, anti-fog goggles, PPE kits, mattresses, face shields, and ICU beds.

This is part of the betting company’s ongoing “Supporting Our Healthcare Facilities” corporate social responsibility programme aimed at supporting Kenyan hospitals in their fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

Receiving the equipment, Baringo County Senator Hon Gideon Moi expressed his gratitude to the betting giant for the donation.

On behalf of people of Baringo, I want to say a big thank you for taking this initiative to assist our people. We are experiencing a massive disaster, both socially and economically, due to the Covid-19 pandemic… For Mozzart to see this and reach out to us is really commendable. Mozzart PPEs donation worth Ksh2 million to Iten County Referral Hospital

The company’s country manager Sasa Krneta also expressed the organisation’s unwavering support to Kenyans.

Last year in April, we donated Ksh10 million to the Council of Governors. This was to go to 10 different counties to help in the fight against Covid-19. So far, we have donated critical equipment to 32 different hospitals across the country…

We also have the #Action100Wells, which is basically aimed at digging 100 new water points in different locations in Kenya. So far, we have actioned four wells and the fourth one is ongoing in Busia.
